About Monty

I graduated from Minot State University after spending 2.5 years at the US Naval Academy with a BS in Business. My wife, Emilia, and I have two kids. Our Daughter Andrea is a Junior at Drake University majoring in BioChemistry and Molecular Cell Biology. While our Son Erick is an Junior at Hudson High School and has a passion for music.

Emilia and I moved to Hudson 25 years ago and absolutely love it here. While it was mostly corn fields back then, we still love what it has become and the way it has grown along with the opportunities living here has given us. 20 years ago I took a leap and started my own business as a freight broker. Over the years as things changed decisions were made and I started Fire & Ice Transport, Inc. This is an over-the-road trucking company that hauls food throughout the US. From there the next logical step was to start a shop and St Croix Diesel in Wilson, WI was born.

A few years ago, with changes in the industries I have been in I decided to reinvent myself while also giving back to those that serve. Having ran a company for over 20 years, I am also happy to help Vets with any questions they may have about becoming their own boss and what that might look like for them.
